A very simple yummy dish, cooks for about 10 minutes. Do try! (Serves 3)Ingredients:
20 pieces of medium sized prawns, shelled
20 pieces of medium sized prawns, shelled
1 tbsp turmeric powder
2 tsp salt
3 shallots
1 garlic
1 cm red chilli
1 whole onion
2 tbsp oil
4 tbsp water
Method:
- Thinly slice the shallots, garlic and chilli
- Combine the prawns with turmeric powder and salt. Let them sit for 2 minutes
- Heat a wok with 2 tbsp of oil. Fry the shallots, garlic and chilli for 2-3 minutes. Add the prawns. Give them a good stir and add in the water
- Julienne the onion, add into the wok and fry for about 5 minutes. Serve with hot rice
